Marvel's Avengers: PlayStation-exclusive Spider-Man DLC finally has a date

Quite a while ago, Square Enix and the developers of Crystal Dynamics announced that they were working on a Spider-Man DLC for the multiplayer action title “Marvel’s Avengers”.

Apart from the fact that this is published exclusively for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, hardly any specific details have been given so far. And after the aforementioned DLC had been quite quiet in the past few weeks, it finally got a final release date as part of a freshly published content roadmap. According to this, PlayStation players can jump into the fray with Spider-Man from November 30, 2021.

A new hero with a matching story line

The arrival of Spider-Man is accompanied by an exclusive storyline. This will not only go into the development of Peter Parker. In addition, it is about a new danger posed by the AIM, which Spider-Man opposes and uses the support of the Avengers. The Spider-Man DLC is of course intended to playfully highlight the peculiarities of the agile network oscillator.

“Spider-Man’s acrobatics offer you a completely new way to experience the game alone or with friends. And his unique movement and combat skills are sure to be a great addition to any attack team taking on missions in the Avengers Initiative, ”said Square Enix of the new DLC.
