The Qatar-USA Festival will be held November 24 to 29

Doha: The Qatar-USA Festival will kick off November 24-29 from the US Embassy Doha, Qatar, in partnership with Katara Cultural Village and Doha Film Institute as part of the Qatar-USA Year of Culture.

Through events and activities across Doha’s most popular landmarks, the festival promotes intercultural exchanges between the US and Qatar.

Qatar-USA Festival aims to bring people together through experiences such as jazz performances by the Grammy-winning Charlie Porter Quintet; and open-air family-friendly movie screenings in collaboration with the Doha Film Institute.

Soul Street Dance Company from Texas will perform spectacular dance pieces, while renowned and award-winning American chefs William Dissen and Saif Rahman will lead cooking masterclasses on Thanksgiving dishes.

On November 24, there will be a performance of Soul Street Hip Hop and Street Dance at Katara Opera House. William Dissen, American Chef and Culinary Diplomat, will be at Flat White, Iconic2022, at 5 p.m. on November 25.

At Katara Opera House on November 27, the Charlie Porter Quintet will perform at 8 pm. There will be music throughout the festival by the US. AFCENT Band. Cinema Under the Stars takes place at Katara Hills every evening from November 25 – 27.
