The Qatar Vaccination Center administers over 100,000 doses of Covid-19

Doha: Since its debut on Sunday, January 9th, the Qatar Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector in Bu Garn has administered over 100,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses. COVID-19 vaccinations are administered by the Center to key business and industry personnel.

Booster doses account for the majority of vaccinations given. The first and second dosages will be given to qualified persons, according to Hamad Medical Corporation.

“Businesses are encouraged to contact the Unit and schedule vaccination appointments for their eligible employee’s staff by emailing [email protected],” the statement added.

The new centre will help the National COVID-19 Vaccination Program, which vaccinated 10,000 people on its first day.

There are almost 500 employees, including 400 doctors, at the Qatar Vaccination Center for Business and Industry Sector, which operates from 7 am to 5 pm Sunday through Thursday. The centre was founded by a collaboration between the Ministry of Public Health, HMC, and ConocoPhillips Qatar.
