Three teachers have been arrested for sexual abuse with students in Miami

MIAMI – With Heiry Calvi, a teacher arrested Friday for have sex with a student and who is pregnant, there are already three educators in Miami-Dade County, in South Florida, detained so far this month and facing charges of sexual assault of minors in three isolated incidents.
Calvi, 41, was arrested on Friday after a seven-month investigation, Brittiny Victoria Lopez-Murray, 31, last Monday, and Daniel fernandez, 36, on October 1.
The authorities detailed that Calvi, a teacher at the John I. Smith Center in the city of Doral, is accused of sexual assault of a minor under 14 years of age and they do not know if this is the father of the baby who is expecting.
According to the Doral Police Department, the victim used social media to communicate with Calvi and they had both attended a party together in which they claimed to be nephew and aunt.
Detectives recognized the student in a video in which they appeared ambyou naked and that the young man was showing his companions.
Meanwhile, Lopez-Murray, a Hialeah high school drama teacher, faces 25 counts of sexual assault to another under 14 years of age.
For its part, Fernandez, a music teacher from Renaissance Middle Charter School, is accused of sexual assault on a 14-year-old student.
