Doha: Through the Qatar Post, the home delivery service of ration cards to citizens at homes is now in action as the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) launched the initiative. Without visiting the Department of Supply and Strategic Inventory at the Ministry, citizens can now obtain a ration card.
Through the electronic services program that is accessible through the ministry’s website, citizens who choose to benefit from this service can pay their fees via credit card or bank card using the bank card they use when they request the delivery of the card via postal service.
If the beneficiary does not get the card, it is returned to the Ministry’s competent department. The request for the ration card to be mailed to citizens is optional, as the card can be obtained from the ministry’s concerned department. If a new ration card is being applied for or a replacement is needed for a lost or damaged card, the MOCI allows citizens to pay their issuance fee online through its electronic ration services program through the Ministry’s website. Â
