Thundery rain is expected, according to the Department of Meteorology

Doha: The Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report that the inshore weather until 6 pm on Saturday will be hazy, hot and relatively humid throughout the day with a chance of thundery rain at times.

In addition to thundery rain, strong winds are expected to accompany the rain. The forecast added that there is a chance of rain and hazy conditions offshore.

The Department of Meteorology added that southeasterly to easterly winds will blow with gusts of up to 22 knots with thunderous rain inshore. 05 to 15 knots will prevail offshore.

Thundery rain will reduce visibility to 4 to 9 kilometres/ 3 kilometres or less at some points. Inshore, the sea state is typically 1 to 3 feet but can reach 4 feet on occasion. Offshore, it ranges from 2 to 4 feet.
