Trae Young will not return to the Hawks on Monday
Point guard Trae Young is not authorized to return to the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, so he will remain in the NBA’s COVID-19 protocol, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.
Young was stopped by the league on December 19 and still has no true light to return for the game against the Chicago Bulls.

The Hawks face a COVID-19 outbreak that could force the NBA to suspend the game this Monday, in case the team does not have the minimum number of active players to execute it.
The point guard departs from the Hawks averaging 27.3 points per game, 4 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 25.6 PER, so his loss is extremely sensitive.
