An alleged drone attack by Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) caused an explosion that destroyed a winery in the municipality of Tepalcatepec, in the state of Michoacán in Mexico.
So far no injuries or deaths have been reported by the events reported by the inhabitants of Tepalcatepec, as the explosion demolished a warehouse that allegedly operated as a drug laboratory and that caused damage to nearby buildings.
These events were recorded at the site known as “La Tamarindera”, and in social networks videos circulate that account for the fire and destruction of the place apparently as a result of an attack with drones of the CJNG since everything indicates that it was owned by Juan José Farías, aka Grandfather Farías one of the alleged leaders of the self-defense groups and the CTepalcatepec cartel that belongs to the United Cartels (CU), in addition to staunch rival of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes alias El Mencho, Señor de los Gallos or El Gallero.
In the images it is observed that the roof of the facilities affected by the explosion that collapsed so that the place was left in rubble while several nearby buildings were damaged.
In some of the videos it is observed when the inhabitants of the area went to see what happened in the place and according to them there was no one in the winery.
Given what happened, members of the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) and the National Guard went to the place to protect the area.
