In new videos of the operation that was killed the drug dealer Ariel Treviño Peña, alias el Tigre, one of the leaders of the Gulf Cartel (CDG), it is appreciated how garbage collection trucks carried out narco-blockades to favor the criminal group and presumably prevent the Mexican authorities from doing their work.
In the scenes, the collection trucks are seen crossing the avenues so that the federal forces do not reach the point of confrontation.

During the clashes on October 22, in the state of Tamaulipas, in addition to Tigre, two other members of the Gulf Cartel and an innocent woman died, in which four hitmen were also arrested, as detailed by the State Coordination Group for the Construction of Peace, which brings together the police and military corporations.
The clashes in which El Tigre died began when hitmen attacked elements who were carrying out patrols, which unleashed persecutions and the criminals carried out violent roadblocks, among them with the collection trucks, they also stole and set fire to vehicles, in at least 15 points to obstruct the arrival of official reinforcements.
The dejection has caused controversy because in a conversation of authorities it is heard saying: “Let them break his ma (…) units do not throw let them do it shit… ”.
El Tigre, who identified himself as Javier Enrique Hernández Gutiérrez or Francisco Hernández Martínez, was the head of the plaza Gulf Cartel in the municipality of Nuevo Progreso, a border city located between Reynosa and Matamoros, and which is dominated by the Scorpiones cell, one of the groups that dispute control of the cartel.
