The Golden State Warriors are in no rush to activate Draymond Green again, and according to coach Steve Kerr they hope to have him back by January 3.
Green is on the NBA’s COVID-19 health protocol. His last game before being deactivated was on December 28, 2021. In theory, the Warriors could activate him for the January 1 game against the Utah Jazz.
Kerr told The Athletic that they prefer to wait for the power forward until the first Monday of 2022.
Draymond Green isn’t expected to return for the Warriors tomorrow in Utah against the Jazz, but Steve Kerr said there’s hope of possible return when Warriors get back home. Still hasn’t cleared protocols.
