Windows 11: Microsoft brings back popular feature from Windows 10
Microsoft has an understanding: After there were a few complaints about Windows 11, now follows the small correction. Drag-and-drop should work just like Windows 10 again. Annoyed users have to be patient for a long time – or they install a third-party tool.
Windows 11: Taskbar with drag-and-drop returns
With every new version jump of Windows, users have to adapt – but sometimes the protest is too loud even for Microsoft. This is exactly why the role now follows backwards in a function that incomprehensibly removed with Windows 11 became. As has now become known, the simple dragging and moving of elements of the taskbar is supposed to celebrate a comeback. It remains unclear why the feature was removed in the first place.
With Windows 11, the Taskbar quite inflexible and the start menu itself is pretty much trimmed. So it’s no wonder that some users take control of the issue and want to redesign the taskbar according to their own wishes. Microsoft makes this unnecessarily difficult with Windows 11, because drag-and-drop of elements is no longer supported by default.
At least that’s supposed to be about the Windows Insider beta program Drag-and-drop will be submitted soon it is said. A publication is not expected until December 2021 or January 2022 (source: Deskmodder). It is not yet known when the function will be available to all Windows 11 users.
