The Witcher season 2: is Geralt pulling bare?

What is part of a successful adaptation of The Witcher? A dark fantasy world with wild creatures, multi-dimensional stories and characters – and of course a lot of bare skin. Witcher star Henry Cavill goes into at least the last point in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

β€œIt would have to be special, it would have to relate to the narrative,” says Cavill. While the nude scenes in the games are rarely interwoven with the story, the star would prefer to drop the covers if it would make sense in terms of the story. With regard to the second season, the Witcher actor speaks plainly: “I would say there is no room for it.”

More iconic moments like the hot tub scene are possible

In fact, the master sorcerer shows a little bare skin in the first season of the Witcher on Netflix. the unforgettable scene with Cavill’s Geralt in a hot tub not only caused a real hype on the net, it is also an obvious reference to the games from CD Projekt RED. The Netflix series itself is an adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher books.

Nevertheless, you can count on small references to the games, after all, Henry Cavill is a big fan of the games. He has proven this in various interviews and a DIY video in which he is building his own gaming PC.

How good will the second Witcher season be?

Cavill also talks about the tremendous physical exertion that comes with his hamstring injury. For the second season of The Witcher, he had to find a good balance during the shoots in order to take it easy and at the same time do his best. (Source: The Hollywood Reporter)
