Katlyn Chookagian and Jennifer Maia rematch added to UFC Fight Night on January 15

A rematch between two former flyweight title contenders has been added to the first UFC Fight Night from 2022.
MMA Fighting confirmed this Tuesday afternoon that Katlyn chookagian and the brazilian Jennifer maia they have agreed to see each other’s faces on the billboard that is scheduled for January 15th.
Chookagian, number two in the ranking, has just improved his promotional record to 9 – 4 with a unanimous decision win over Viviane araujo in the Preliminaries of UFC 262. Six months earlier, he had overcome in the same way Cynthia calvilllo.
Maia, former 125-pound champion of Invicta FC, was rediscovered with victory last July by prevailing on the cards to Jessica Eye at UFC 264.
For the Paraná-born, her unanimous decision loss to Chookagian in the UFC 244 it had been his fourth experience on the Octagon.
