Doha: Abbott baby formula produced by Abbott are safe for consumption, stated the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH).
A few weeks back the Ministry of Public Health took precautionary measures after it received notification regarding the safety of baby formulas produced by Abbott from the international network of food safety officials (Infosan).
Are Abbott baby formula safe for consumption?
The Ministry of Public Health reported that the Central Food Laboratories confirmed the safety of all samples withdrawn from the local market of infant formula milk powder products for special uses – Similac Human Milk Fortifier, Elecare, Elecare JR – produced by Abbott company.
