Why gamers didn’t like the idea of a Lenovo gaming laptop
Mobile gaming platforms provide the convenience of playing electronic games everywhere. The Nintendo Switch platform is perhaps the most prominent mobile platform available today. except if a company Lenovo was planning to launch a similar platform, Legion Play.
The new device was supposed to be revealed in conspiracy MWC 2021, but Lenovo has not. Then the details of the device appeared on the company’s website, which often happened by mistake.
We knew then that the new Lenovo Legion Play is a portable gaming device with full control buttons and distinctive internal specifications that include a high screen frequency and a large battery capacity, but this device was planned to come with the Android operating system.

Players’ opinions about this device varied after information about it spread on all technical sites specialized in games. Android Authority has created Survey About the device, and its results explained the players’ point of view.
This is where 1,700 users interested in games participated in this survey, and the results revealed that 41% of the voters did not intend to buy this device, and on the other hand, 43.5% of respondents linked their interest in the device to its price, meaning that the price is the main factor for them. While only 15% intend to buy it.

The results of the voting showed us on the one hand, and the opinions of the players in the comments on the other hand, about their lack of interest in playing electronic games on the Android operating system.
Perhaps the main reason behind this is that the Lenovo Legion Play will not differ much from any leading Android phone, especially in the presence of a huge number of add-ons and accessories that transform Android phones into gaming devices with many control buttons.

On the other hand, players think that the Android platform is not suitable for gaming enough. This is due to the weakness of smartphone games compared to professional gaming platforms in general. And because of the ads that fill the smartphone games. Some believe that smartphone games are only intended to profit without providing a suitable gaming experience.
Instead, the Legion Play and any similar device are just a modified Android phone, which is very different from professional game consoles such as Steam Deck, Nintendo Switch, and even PS Vita and PSP.

And players are of the opinion that the idea behind Legion Play is never bad especially if it was launched at an affordable price. This is because the device comes with satisfactory specifications, a large battery and is pre-equipped with its own controller. Which allows the user to access Android games in general, and access to cloud gaming services as well, which allows the user to play professional platform games on smartphones.
