Saygid Izagakhmaev, Khabib’s training partner, signs with ONE Championship

Saygid Izagakhmaev has signed with ONE Championship. And the signing was made known nothing more and nothing less than Khabib Nurmagomedov, who thanked the president of the promotion, Chatri Sityodtong, for opening the doors to his teammate in Eagles MMA and AKA.

Izagakhmaev, 27, holds a professional record of 19-2, finishing twelve games via submission.

The Dagestani will make his debut with ONE in December having won six of his last seven contests. His most recent loss was one by submission to the reigning welterweight of the UFC, Carlston Harris. That match was played in an event of UA Warriors at the beginning of the year.
