Samsung announces Unpacked 2 event on October 20

Samsung has sent out invitations for an online event to be held on Wednesday, October 20th at 5 PM KSA.

It’s called Galaxy Unpacked Part 2, which is probably an indication that instead of announcing new Galaxy phones, we might be seeing clones of existing phones.

With the South Korean company’s announcement, we now have an Apple event on Monday (where we’re expecting a new MacBook Pro), Google’s Pixel 6 phones launching on Tuesday, as well as a Samsung event on Wednesday.

In addition to the photo of the invitation, he says Published company: Our users are multi-faceted and live life in many colorful, fun and unique ways. As such, the technology they use every day should reflect their individual personality. Join Galaxy Unpacked Part 2 on October 20 to see how Samsung unlocks new experiences of self-expression through technology.

It could mean anything. But it does seem to indicate new colors for the Galaxy phones or perhaps even a full customization option. And the company may allow you to get the Galaxy Z Flip 3 in colors as desired by the user on every aspect of it. And the teaser image might indicate that.

Samsung is expected to announce the Galaxy S21 FE

The company offered the Galaxy Z Fold 2 to customers the option to choose their own accent color for the hinge. But this option disappeared on the Galaxy Z Fold 3.

And no customization software came close to the original Moto X. Which allows people to choose any number of different color options and even materials for their phones. Including bamboo. It seems unlikely that Samsung will be willing to go that far.

Also expected is the Galaxy S21 FE, a lower-cost Fan Edition version of the Galaxy S21 that has been rumored for a while.. Reports said the company is still considering launching the Galaxy S21 FE in January.

Regardless of what the company wants to announce on Wednesday, the 20th, it may struggle to gain attention after the events of Apple and Google. That’s although Wednesday’s pick may be a strategic attempt to pry some attention away from the Pixel 6.
