Comparison of Apple Watch 7 and previous versions
Apple announced at its conference this year about the Apple Watch 7, which is currently the latest version of the Apple smart watch.
The announcement came alongside a slew of new products like the iPhone 13 and two new iPads, and many are starting to think about upgrading their smartwatches to the Apple Watch 7.
Therefore, in our article today, we present to you a comparison between the Apple Watch 7 and Apple Watches of previous generations in all aspects.
Comparison of Apple Watch 7 processor and previous versions
It appears that the new generation of the Apple Watch uses the processor of the previous sixth generation of the watch, as Apple has not announced any new processor.
Although it is called the S7, it remains the same processor that the company used in the sixth generation.
And if you used the sixth generation of the watch before, you should not expect an increase in performance in the new Apple Watch 7.
But the new processor is better than the processor used in the old generations, and the new generation uses 32 GB of storage space.

Screen size and type
Apple made a significant change in the design and size of the screen, as it was able to reduce the edges of the screen very significantly to become the lowest among all watches, and the new screen is 20% larger than the sixth, fourth, fifth and SE generations, and 50% larger than the third generation of the watch.
The watch also uses Always On Display technology, which is not present in the fourth and third generation of the watch.

Charging technologies used in the Apple Watch 7
Apple has used a new charging technology in the Apple Watch 7, where the watch can reach an 80% charge in 45 minutes instead of 60 minutes for other versions, and you can turn on sleep tracking by charging the watch for 8 minutes to get 8 hours of sleep tracking.
The watch also uses a new USB C charger instead of the usual port to significantly increase the charging speed, but the use of the watch has not increased much, working up to 18 hours connected as usual.

Sensors and other features
The Apple Watch gets an additional set of sensors compared to the SE watch and previous generations, but it is not much different from the sixth generation of the watch, as Apple uses the same processor and therefore uses the same sensors in the two watches.

The price of the Apple Watch from the seventh generation does not differ from the prices of previous watches when they are sold new from Apple stores, where the watch comes at a price of approximately $ 400, and you can get a lower price for officially older versions such as the third generation or SE.
Therefore, the Apple Watch 7 is a big and worthy upgrade for those coming from the fourth or third generation, but it does not offer the same upgrade for those coming from the fifth or sixth generation, and these users can wait until the next generation of the watch, if they do not need the larger screen size and faster charging speed.
