UFC Las Vegas 40: Lupita Godinez agrees to fight Luana Carolina with seven days notice

Lupita godinez has made a Khamzat Chimaev.
One week after beat Argentine Silvana Gomez Juarez at UFC Fight Night Las Vegas 39 last Saturday, the Mexican has agreed to replace Sijara Eubanks to fight with Luana carolina at UFC Las Vegas 40.
The new pairing was first reported Tuesday night by ESPN Deportes’ Carlos Contreras Legaspi.
If he won on Saturday, Godinez would break Chimaev’s record for the most wins in the least amount of time. The Russian had achieved his second victory in the UFC ten days after the first.
With his victory by armbar in the first round against Juarez, ‘Loopy’ improved his professional record to 6-1.
Carolina comes from scoring her second victory over the Octagon by beating a split decision to Poliana Botelho in May.
