UFC Las Vegas 39: Despite a literal bloodbath, Damon Jackson defeats Charles Rosa by unanimous decision

Damon Jackson had to leave much of his vital liquid on the octagon to win the UFC Fight Night Las Vegas 39.
In the preliminaries of the event, the former interim 145-pound champion of the LFA did not allow a deep cut on his right eyebrow to affect his performance during his match with Charles Rosa.
And even though Rosa has eight submission wins, that didn’t stop the member of Fortis MMA of taking the action to the ground to ensure minutes of control.

Despite all the blood spilled, the fight went a long way, where Jackson took the victory by unanimous decision (29 – 28, 29 – 27, 30 – 28). Thus, the 33-year-old fighter rises to 2 – 1 in this second stage of his on the Octagon.
Rosa, under contract with the UFC since 2014, he has suffered his sixth fall with the organization, fifth on the judges’ scorecards.
