India receives its first batch of Afghan evacuees from Doha
135 Indians evacuated from Kabul to Doha were repatriated to India on Saturday, August 21, according to a statement from the Indian Embassy. Those words came from a tweet from the Indian Embassy in Doha, which showed videos of Indians returning home.

According to Indian media sources, roughly 500 persons returned to India from Afghanistan this morning, August 22, via a variety of places and airlines. To assure their safe return, the embassy provided consular and logistical assistance. Qatar’s rulers and other officials were also thanked.
