Doha municipality conducts 1650 food inspections

Doha: Health Control Department of the Doha Municipality recently seized a large amount of frozen fish which is unfit for human consumption. The Department has carried out a total of 1650 inspections so far.

The seized quantity was destroyed and a violation report against the company was issued by the authorities.

During the inspection, the officials also found unsanitary conditions and the usage of expired foodstuffs. The officials implemented 7 administrative closures and found 55 violations in October.
