Donald Trump Launches Social Media Platform TRUTH

Former US President Donald Trump is preparing to launch his own social media app, TRUTH Social, which he said is facing big tech companies like Twitter and Facebook that have blocked him from using their platforms.

TRUTH Social is being created by a new company formed through the merger of Trump Media and Technology Group and private acquisition firm SPAC, according to to show Press distributed by both organizations.

The social network, which is scheduled for a beta launch next month and fully operational in the first quarter of 2022, marks the first of three phases in the company’s plans. Followed by a subscription video-on-demand service called TMTG+ that features entertainment, news, and podcasts.

In the slides across its website, the company envisions competing with Amazon’s AWS Cloud and Google Cloud.

The deal values ​​Trump Media and Technology Group with an initial corporate value of $875 million. With a potential additional earnings of $825 million in additional stock for a cumulative valuation of $1.7 billion.
