Msheireb Museum and International Labour Organization launch a photo competition

Doha: Young aspiring photographers in Qatar are being invited by the Msheireb Museum and the International Labor Organization to participate in their photo competition for a chance to win up to QR3,000.

Entrants must be aged 14-18 and submit a photograph expressing the concept of freedom. This is based on Bin Jelmood House’s “Art of Freedom” exhibition, which is currently open till February 2nd.

The subjects covered in this exhibit are relevant to modern forms of slavery in Arab countries.

A participant can enter the competition by posting a photo on Instagram with the hashtag #IamAware2022.

The first-place winner will receive QR3,000, the second-place winner will receive QR2,000, and the third-place winner will receive QR1,000. The deadline for submissions is the 31st of January.
