
A talent management training programme has been launched by Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) represented by the Excellence Centre for Training and Consulting (ECTC), in cooperation with the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC). The programme will run until October 2021.
About 25 employees from various departments and sections are taking part in the training, which includes “Ent Kafou” and “Mental Leadership,” in addition to courses like Leadership of Excellence and Youth Athletic Empowerment.
Dr Ahmed Mohamed, the Center’s Director said that this training programme is part of the Center and Qatar Olympic Committee’s cooperative effort to improve functional and institutional performance.
βEnt Kafou,β the first session of the programme discussed the concept of citizenship and its role in the youth. Mona Babety, who led the session discussed how the youth can achieve the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030 by tapping their potential. the session also went through empowering the Qatari citizens in their work and creative intellectual systems to promote the principle of citizenship through practical successes.
During the programme, the QOC Director of Human Resources Management and Administration, Maryam Al Kuwari revealed that the programme is the continuation of its first edition. The first Talent Management Programme was held back in 2019.
