Sheikha Asma Al-Thani becomes the first Qatari woman to reach the summit of Mount Ama Dablam in Nepal

Doha: Sheikha Asma Al-Thani became the first Qatari woman to reach the summit of Mount Ama Dablam in Nepal, reaching a height of 6,812 m.

According to the Qatar Olympic Committee, this is Sheikha Asma Al-Thani’s fourth summit this year. Climber reached the summit of the seventh highest mountain in the world, Mount Dhaulagiri in Nepal, which is 8167 meters high.

Qatar Grand Prix will take place from November 19-21 at Losail International Circuit. For the first time in the history of Qatari and Arab women, she had also conquered Mount Manaslu, the eighth highest peak in the world, without using an oxygen machine.

Sheikha Asma Al-Thani climbed the highest point in Europe to fly the Qatar flag, Mount Elbrus, in Russia last August.
