UFC Las Vegas 40: Danaa Batgerel spoils Brandon Davis’ return with TKO in the first round

The return of Brandon davis the octagon could not be worse.
In the second match of the Preliminary Card of the UFC Fight Night Las Vegas 40, the 31-year-old bantamweight experienced his first loss in more than two years as he was finished via TKO against Danaa Batgerel in the first round.
Mongolian native Batgerel landed a powerful right hand that knocked down Davis who was unable to properly defend himself from the gale of blows that fell on him.

With this victory, Batgerel is 3 – 1 inside the cage of the UFC. His two previous wins had come by KO in the first round against Kevin Natividad and the Argentine Guido cannetti.

Davis, who since his dismissal from UFC In 2019 he brought together an undefeated record of 4 – 0 on the independent circuit, suffering his sixth promotional defeat. The Georgia native had been disengaged from the organization by winning just two of the seven fights he has played since graduating from Contender Series.
