THQ Nordic is celebrating its 10th anniversary – and to celebrate it appropriately, GOG is giving away the action classic Outcast 1.1, the original of which is now more than 20 years old. But if you want to secure the game, you have to hurry – the promotion only runs for a short time.

What is the free adventure about?

Outcast tells the story of Cutter Slade, a commander in the US Navy who, together with three scientists, is supposed to explore a parallel universe, to save the earth from destruction. But even during your journey into the distant world, complications arise and you are separated from your research unit.

It is your task now to explore the alien world and to search for the scientists. This is where you come across the strange people of the Talanswho see in you the liberator of their culture.

The revised version 1.1 of Outcast offers compared to the original from 1999 native controller support, supports higher resolutions, provides a modernized user interface and offers an improved technical framework.
