Greece expressed their gratitude for the remarkable assistance from Qatar
Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic H E Kyriakos Mitsotakis called Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Than yesterday afternoon, thanking for the remarkable assistance by the State of Qatar to Greece. A few days back, a huge wildfire broke out in Greece, affecting several regions of the country and causing several damages.
The State of Qatar helped Greece on the time for putting out the wildfire. The additional assistance during the crisis from Qatar has earned praise from around the world and the Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic H E Kyriakos Mitsotakis himself.

HH the Amir expressed his condolences for the victims of the fire and assured support from the State of Qatar in the future. Amir also wished the injured a speedy recovery and the State of Qatar’s willingness to assist the country in any future circumstances.
They also talked about several international and regional developments and also dealt with bilateral relations between the two countries.
