iPhone 13 under the Christmas tree: Amazon gives us hope
The delivery situation for the iPhone 13 is tense from the start. After all, a look at Amazon currently gives us some hope. The dealer gives us some hope, but it is still too early to give the all-clear.
In October we wondered: Why didn’t the new iPhone 13 make it into the top 10 best-selling smartphones on Amazon? The explanation: Amazon can only sell what Apple delivers. That was not much, as is well known that the Cupertino manufacturer, like the rest of the industry, is struggling with the current shortage economy. If you want to buy an iPhone 13, you have to be able to wait.
iPhone 13 again in the top 10: Amazon can deliver better
Now we look again in the top and lo and behold, the iPhone 13 is currently in 5th place (Source: Amazon, position applies at the time of research). Our assumption: the delivery situation must have improved. At least the variants of the iPhone 13 with the large storage options (256 and 512 GB) are for the most part directly available. With the inexpensive entry-level model with 128 GB there are at least dates for one or the other model for the beginning of November. In a nutshell: If you want to buy an iPhone 13 for Christmas for yourself or your loved ones, you still have a good chance and can grab it right away.
The only thing that shouldn’t be hoped for right now is lower prices, because there can be no question of “warehouse pressure” at the moment. Amazon and the rest of the trade do not have to reduce the iPhone 13.

No hope for the pro models, mini model with discount
This looks a little different with the iPhone 13 mini. That smallest model can be delivered directly, There are no waiting times. Depending on the color, you sometimes pay less than with Apple. The model with 128 GB in the color “Polarstern” is currently available for 779 euros instead of 799 euros – saved 20 euros (see Amazon). But we can save even more – a coupon worth 45.03 euros was displayed. So in the end we only pay 733.92 euros.
On the other hand, there is no all-clear and hope for the iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max. For the most part Amazon cannot give a delivery date and if so, customers have to expect a delivery time of one to two months. In many cases, this is simply too late for Santa Claus and it is better to reschedule.
