James Harden and Russell Westbrook recorded historic triple doubles this Christmas
The meeting between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Brooklyn Nets left a historic event on NBA Christmas holidays, as James Harden and Russell Westbrook became the first pair of opponents to record triple doubles in a December 25 game.
Harden closed the day with 36 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds, being the mainstay of the Nets’ 122-115 victory.
Westbrook, meanwhile, registered 13 points, 12 rebounds and 11 assists, however, he was in debt after going 20-4 in shots from the court and not being decisive in important moments of the game. He was also singled out for suffering 3 turnovers and failing his three attempted triples.
