After the anime series JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure a downright hype has experienced, Netflix is ​​now grabbing the rights for the sixth season. For the first time in the history of the series, the main role goes to a female protagonist: Jolyne Kujo, the daughter of Jotaro, the protagonist of the third season.

It has been known for a few months that the new season is coming to Netflix. But now the official release date has also been set: on December 1, 2021 Episodes 1 – 12 should appear worldwide. What’s the new season about?

Each season of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure takes place at a different time and place. This time it goes into a Florida maximum security prison of the year 2011. Protagonist Jolyne is innocently sentenced to 15 years in prison and now has to deal not only with dangerous inmates, but also with strange forces.
