Qatar Charity provides Afghans with immediate relief assistance.

Humanitarian aid from Qatar Charity (QC) has been given to Afghans in the first batch, with more to come. A month’s worth of food for 10,000 households is delivered through Qatar Airways in 15 tonnes of food products.

“Qatar Charity is closely following the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan. We are mobilising efforts to help Afghan people through urgent humanitarian intervention with the support of the Qatari community, especially after the great efforts made by Qatar in operating the Kabul airport and other access ports, which allowed aid teams to reach different areas of Afghanistan.” said Nawaf Al Hammadi, CEO’s assistant for International Operations and Programmes at QC.
