Starting on September 12, Qatar University will resume regular classes

With the help of Qatar’s authorities, Qatar University (QU) has declared a gradual restoration to campus attendance. When the first set of students returns on Sunday, September 12, QU says it has prepared the campus to ensure their safety.

The first group of students include are the ones who have enrolled in courses offered by the Health Cluster, the foundation level courses, and UNIV100 and UNIV200 seminars.

Students were urged to make sure that the green status appears on the EHTERAZ app, use face masks in closed spaces, and follow other directives given by the Ministry of Public Health. There is an exemption request form that must be submitted by students from high-risk groups, as well as certificates that explain their health status and a doctor’s recommendation on whether or not to attend lectures on campus.

The certificates should be issued by Hamad Medical Corporation or the Primary Health Care Corporation via the following link (https://forms.office.com/r/g7T7tsWeP0).

When it comes to security and safety measures, as well as health conditions in general, Qatar University said that it will constantly monitor key indicators of educational progress on campus. To ensure the safe return of the University’s workers, the concerned teams will follow up on any observations or queries they may have.
