Qatar Chamber to relocate to Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City

Doha: Qatar Chamber (QC) is now under preparations to shift its headquarters to Commercial Boulevard in Lusail City. Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company and Qatar Chamber (QC) signed an agreement as part of the move today.

At the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC), QC Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani and Qatari Diar CEO Eng Abdulla bin Hamad Al Attiyah signed the agreement. HE Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari, Minister of Commerce and Industry, attended the signing ceremony.

The Chamber’s new headquarter coincides with Qatar’s renaissance, according to Sheikh Khalifa, adding that it will be well-equipped to suit all its activities, services, and events that cater to the private sector.

Upon completion of the new building, the Qatar Chamber headquarters will move to the Commercial Boulevard, he said, adding the move would enable the Chamber to improve its member services.

The CEO of Qatari Diar claims that the Chamber’s relocation to Lusail City will effectively enhance the city’s services. This is in line with Qatari Diar’s vision for Lusail to become the economic capital city of the country.

In Lusail City, Commercial Boulevard covers 7,687 square meters of land and 17000 square meters of rental space over ten floors high. In addition, it will include shopping malls, 4 and 5-star hotels, offices, art galleries, libraries, studios, retail spaces, auto showrooms, restaurants, and recreational facilities.
