Doha: Team Qatar returns to the country after the success in Olympic Games Tokyo 2020. They arrived at Doha International Airport yesterday. Team Qatar was welcomed by a group of well-wishers led by HH Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, Personal Representative of HH the Amir. Team Qatar has crowned two gold medals in weightlifting and in the high Jump respectively. they also grabbed the bronze medal for the Beach Volleyball event.

“I am pleased with the historical achievements of our team winning two gold medals and a bronze. I congratulate our team ‘Al Adaam’ and our Olympic Committee for these honourable results in their participation in the Tokyo Olympics 2020,” Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani said in a tweet, congratulating the Qatari team for the Tokyo Olympics 2020.
The Personal Representative of the Emir also congratulated the team. He praised the champions for their great accomplishments, high sportsmanship and remarkable outstanding performance in the games. He also wished them for best of luck for the upcoming tournaments and their future.
