Athletics sign pitcher Justin Grimm with minor league deal

The Oakland Athletics reached a minor league deal with right-hander Justin Grimm, BHC Sports reported.

The pitcher comes from working in 2021 with the Seattle Mariners in his Triple A squad. On this team he had a 4.37 ERA in 47.1 work episodes.

In his MLB career, he has 360 innings of work with 5.14 ERA.

Although he doesn’t have a major league deal, Grimm could be a preseason guest of the Athletics to be tested at Spring Training games in Arizona.
