China will not allow tattoos for national team players

The Chinese national team will not allow tattoos for the team’s players, local media The Paper reported.
The measure aims, according to the high command, to make footballers positive examples for society and recommend to those who already have tattoos to erase them, in addition to also prohibiting in the sub 20 and sub 17 categories to summon tattooed players.

In official photographs of those summoned to the team, the tattoos of players such as Zhang Xizhe or Zhang Linpeng have been erased with image retouching programs on some occasions, which shows their clear intention not to accept them.
