Afghanistan receives humanitarian aid from Qatar

Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, has welcomed a plane delivering humanitarian aid supplied by the Qatar Fund for Development and Qatar Charity. The aid includes 17 tonnes of medical aid and basic food products such as rice, sugar, salt, flour and infant formula.

Qatar’s ambassador to Afghanistan, H E Saeed bin Mubarak Al Khayareen, was present at the plane’s arrival. After the recent events, the Ambassador also watched the launch of the first of two domestic flights from Kabul to Kandahar Airport and Mazar-i-Sharif Airport.
