GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition: 13 new screenshots from the remaster collection
Current screenshots of the upcoming “GTA” trilogy show how beautiful the reworked PS2 classics will look on modern consoles. You can admire the individual pictures in our gallery at the end of the article.
In the past few days, numerous new screenshots for “GTA Trilogy – The Definitive Edition” have been published on the Internet. It shows the heavily revised character models and the more detailed game worlds.
All images illustrate the graphical improvements of the three included offshoots “GTA III”, “GTA Vice City” and “GTA San Andreas”. As promised by the developers we notice high-resolution textures, a completely redesigned lighting system, more realistic effects, added details and a greater range of vision. The last-mentioned improvement means that the skylines of the various cities are now much more beautiful to look at.
Owners of a new-gen console can also enjoy 4K and 60 FPS. The Nvidia DLSS AI rendering technology is supported on the PC.
The improved look isn’t everything, however. The control was based on the successful “Grand Theft Auto 5”. You will notice this especially when aiming with a weapon and during drive-by shoots. In order to simplify the selection of your weapon and radio station while driving, selection wheels have also been introduced. Otherwise, targets can now be marked on the map and if you fail on a mission, you can repeat it immediately.

The publication will take place this Thursday. Available platforms include the PlayStation and Xbox consoles, the Nintendo Switch, and the PC. Regardless of the system, you have to pay 59.99 euros. The trilogy will also be released for mobile devices next year.
