“In my opinion it was [The Chronicles of] Riddick on the original Xbox [entwickelt von den Starbreeze Studios, mit mehreren Mitgliedern des aktuellen MachineGames-Teams] just unbelievable, ”said Howard. “For example, if you look at the technical level of this game before Doom – it’s amazing. And because of the work they’ve done with Wolfenstein and on the scenes and characters, I think they’re just amazing developers. And so I addressed her: ‘Hey, could you be interested in that?’ And they said ‘absolutely’. And they’re right in these Nazi things anyway, aren’t they? “

On the subject: Indiana Jones: MachineGames’ project is still in the early stages of development

It is still unclear when the new “Indiana Jones” title from MachineGames will ultimately see the light of day. Since it was pointed out in the summer of this year that the project is still in an early stage of development, we will have to wait a long time before we can get hands on the new Indy adventure ourselves.

Since Bethesda Softworks and thus MachineGames are now part of Microsoft, it remains to be seen whether “Indiana Jones” will still be released for the PlayStation platforms. However, because of the strong brand, insiders and experts assume that LucasArts insisted on publication on all relevant platforms.
