Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving left the COVID-19 protocol in the NBA
All-star Brooklyn Nets players Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving came out of the COVID-19 protocol in the NBA, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reported.
In addition to the two figures, veteran LaMarcus Aldridge was also authorized to rejoin group work with the rest of the team.
Durant is sure to return to action Thursday night against the Philadelphia 76ers at the Barclays Center. The Kyrie Irving case is going to take longer, as coach Steve Nash recently said the point guard will need two to three weeks to get physically fit.
Brooklyn ranks first in the Eastern Conference with a record of 23 wins and 9 losses.
