Nokia announces G300 .. 5G phone worth 199 dollars
Company revealed HMD Global Today Tuesday announced the Nokia G300, the company’s least expensive 5G smartphone to date. And for $199, the Nokia G300 gives you a large 6.5-inch screen, a Snapdragon 480 processor, 5G support, a big battery, and a near-crude Android experience.
And like the $199 REVVL V Plus 5G, the Nokia G300 doesn’t try to impress you with its flagship specs. But it offers useful features that you care about at an affordable price.
The fingerprint scanner is one of the most useful features of the Nokia G300. It is integrated with the power button so that you can unlock your phone inconspicuously while pressing the same button to wake it up. You can also use your face to unlock the device.
The device houses a large 4,470mAh battery, which Nokia claims lasts about two days before needing to be charged. The battery is charged via an 18W fast charger that comes inside the box.
It also mixes some old and new technologies like a 3.5mm audio jack for wired headphones, radio antenna, NFC and runs Android 11.
The G300 features a 16-megapixel rear camera with a relatively large f/1.8 lens slot, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and a 5-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 lens slot. There is an 8-megapixel front camera that handles selfies and video calls.
This phone can record 1080p videos at 60 frames per second using Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) to help reduce the natural shaking of your hand.
The device has a 6.52-inch LCD screen with a very low resolution for its size of 720 x 1600 pixels. With an aspect ratio of 20:9.
Like the OnePlus Nord N200 5G, it comes with 64GB of internal storage. This means that you need a microSD card to expand the storage capacity of this phone.

The G300 is also powered by the same 5G-compatible Snapdragon 480 processor as the OnePlus Nord N200 5G. It is supported by 4 GB of RAM.
While the Nokia G300 is ready for 5G networks. But it only handles sub-6Hz standard. AndYou can pre-order the Nokia G300 at $199 on the same day the new Pixel 6 phones are announced.
This phone with 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM will be available for purchase directly on October 19, 2021.
