Thursday’s game between the Denver Nuggets and the Golden State Warriors was postponed, according to a report from The Athletic journalist Shams Charania.
The postponement of the meeting occurs because the Nuggets cannot meet the minimum number of players required by the NBA, given the long list of absences due to the COVID-19 protocols.
On Saturday, January 1, the Denver team would face the Houston Rockets, but that game is in serious doubt for the same reason.
For their part, the Warriors will face the Utah Jazz on the first day of the NBA corresponding to 2022.
This news occurs just hours after it was known that 36% of the referees have entered the COVID-19 protocols.
