Al-Kuwari participates in the third meeting of the AFC Marketing Committee

Khalid Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Director of Marketing and Communications Department of the Qatar Football Association and a member of the AFC Marketing Committee, participated in the third meeting of the AFC Marketing Committee. The meeting was held yesterday afternoon, Thursday through a visual communication feature. The meeting was headed by Dasho Eugene Tsishob. Members of the committee and the General Secretary of the Asian Football Confederation also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the attendees discussed the topics on agenda and the reports regarding the marketing issues of the tournaments organized by the Asian Confederation in the last period were also reviewed.

They were also briefed on work developments regarding marketing and commercial matters, as well as the reports submitted regarding commercial and television rights and what was reached with the rights-owning company.

The third meeting reviewed the work plan and marketing strategy for the coming years, and some recommendations for marketing matters, in general, were taken.

It is worth noting that the committee held its first meeting for the 2019-2023 session in November of the year 2019 at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur. Every member of the committee participated in the meeting, while the second meeting took place in November 2020 via the video call feature.
