Electronic Arts: Publisher will bring back a “beloved brand”
According to recent reports, publisher Electronic Arts is preparing the return of another popular brand. Since no specific name was given, one can only speculate about which brand the rumors are about.
This week we will again receive one or the other interesting rumor about previously unannounced productions that are said to be in the works with the various publishers.
As the well-known and reliable source insider Tom Henderson reports on Twitter, Electronic Arts will bring back a brand that was very popular at the time. Aside from the fact that the official announcement won’t be long in coming, Henderson didn’t go into any further detail. Therefore, one can currently only speculate which brand or series will celebrate its comeback.
Medal of Honor? SSX? Command & Conquer?
A new “burnout”, for example, is unlikely because the original developer Criterion Games recently took over the creative direction of the “Need for Speed” series and is currently working on the next offshoot of the long-lived racing game series, which will appear in 2022 as things stand. Other names brought up by the rumor mill include “SSX”, “Command & Conquer” or the shooter series “Medal of Honor”.

Henderson’s statements certainly do not seem unrealistic. Finally, Electronic Arts announced the return of several popular brands in the recent past. While the “Star Wars: Squadrons” makers from EA Motive are known to be working on a remake of the sci-fi horror classic “Dead Space”, one is working specifically for the successor founded studio currently at “Skate 4”.
So far, those responsible at Electronic Arts have not wanted to comment on the information provided by Henderson.
