The Atlanta Braves have not yet completed the renewal of Freddie Freeman and several experts agree that the first baseman is on the radar of the New York Yankees.
Freeman turned down Atlanta’s offer for five years and $ 135 million as he seeks at least a guaranteed sixth year. The Yankees have the financial muscle to improve that offer.

College football team Virginia Tech is in New York to face Maryland in the Pinstripe Bowl Wednesday at Yankee Stadium. The varsity team will wear the Yankees logo on their helmets to commemorate the franchise.
