Terry Francona plans to lead the Guardians in the 2022 season

Terry Francona is feeling recovered from the health problems that have plagued him for the past two years and will return with the Cleveland Guardians in 2022, The Boston Globe reported.

The manager with 21 seasons of MLB experience told Dan Shaughnessy that he is fully fit to take up managerial duties on the field again.

In the harvests of 2020 and 2021, Francona had to leave the team to attend to health conditions.

Francona underwent surgery in September to treat an infection in one of the toes in his left foot.
