Will the fantasy adventure come out after April 2022?

The upcoming action RPG “Hogwarts Legacy” has been pretty quiet in the last few months. Now it looks like Warner Bros. has at least narrowed the release period a little.

Most recently it was quiet about “Hogwarts Legacy” after the title was already at the beginning of the year postponed to 2022 had been. New details are still few and far between, but now there seems to be a new indication of a possible release period for the action RPG, among other things GamingBolt reported.

Hogwarts Legacy: Warner Bros. limits release period

Toy Magazine recently had the opportunity to speak to Rachel Wakley, General Manager of Warner Bros., to discuss what the year ahead has in store for the Wizarding World franchise. Wakley replied that fans of the IP can look forward to two new magical adventures.

“The first is the theatrical release of Fantastic Beasts: Dumbledore’s Secrets”, which is now due to come to cinemas in the United Kingdom on April 8th. The second title is the video game “Hogwarts Legacy”, which, based on Wakley’s choice of words, could only be released after the movie.

Wakley described the response to the video game trailer as “amazing and it looks like it will be a huge success.” She then added that the company understands the importance of the video game market, which is why it is important to those responsible be to participate in it.

“From what we’ve seen it will be well worth the wait for the launch and it will be a unique opportunity for fans to interact with the show,” concluded Wakley. “Hogwarts Legacy” does not currently have a set release date, but it looks like the title will not be available in stores until April 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC.
