Djokovic overtakes Lewandowski and Verstappen in 2021 European Athlete award
Novak Djokovic added new recognition to his brilliant career in the world of professional sports.
The number one tennis player in the world was named as the European Athlete of 2021, after a vote that included 26 press agencies in Europe.

In the prestigious accolade, the 34-year-old Serbian beat forward Robert Lewandowski and Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen.
